"Destined Connection"

From solitude's refuge, I once stood,
Avoiding pain, as best I could.
A heart closed off, emotions concealed,
Unwilling to risk, to have wounds revealed.

College's horizon, a chance anew,
No plans for bonds, no friendships grew.
But then she appeared, like a whispered call,
A meeting unplanned, destined to enthrall.

"Met," I named her, a symbol of fate,
Her presence a spark, my heart's gate.
Intrigued by her aura, I stepped beyond,
From a distant observer to a friend fond.

Parallel paths, Sagittarius stars above,
Our likeness woven in constellations of love.
A connection forged, profound and true,
Her essence a mirror, a reflection in view.

Her qualities like poetry, verses that rhyme,
A canvas of colors in the tapestry of time.
With her, my defenses started to crack,
A renewed spirit awakened, no turning back.

College's chapters, painted in vibrant hue,
Shared moments and laughter, experiences grew.
As years flowed on and graduation drew near,
Our friendship remained, a bond sincere.

Beyond campus borders, life's journey's stride,
Our connection endures, like the changing tide.
Through passing seasons and years that transcend,
"Destined Connection" weaves a tale without end.
